Weyermann® IPA wins silver

Wonderful news from Meininger´s International Craft Beer Award: Our Weyermann® No. 14 India Pale Ale wins a silver medal!

The competition was dedicated to India Pale Ales (IPA) and Pale Ales – the beer styles that boosted the craft beer movement worldwide and continue to be among the most popular styles in the community.

The beer styles are characterized by their distinctive hop aromas. For the Weyermann® India Pale Ale, six selected hop varieties spread a fruity, exotic aroma. With its tropical appearance, it is a true delight!

More than 140 beers were presented in a blind tasting to the diverse jury of experts at Meininger´s International Craft Beer Award. The monthly beer competition focuses on a particular theme each time. In the tasting format for India Pale Ales and Pale Ales, the panel awarded 34 medals in total.
