„Kreativbier“ festival as “warm-up” for the 6th German Championship for Homebrewers

Tomorrow, the „Kreativbier“ festival (festival for creative beers) will take place at the Störtebeker Brauquartier in Stralsund as a “warm-up” for the 6th German Championship for Homebrewers.

Over 50 homebrewers from all over Germany are looking forward to presenting their creative brew specialties and the chance of being voted into the top 10 of the „Kreativbier“ competition.

In addition to the „Kreativbier“ festival, there will be master classes on this year’s championship beer style “Chocolate Stout”.

Ulrich Ferstl, Weyermann® Team Leader Direct Customers and Food, will be our Weyermann® ambassador on-site. As part of his seminar he will give helpful tips and tricks for all aspects of the ideal malt composition for stouts.

The official German Championship for Homebrewers and the award ceremony for the best creative beers will then take place on September 15th in Munich as part of the drinktec trade fair, the world’s leading trade fair for the beverage and liquid food industry.
