Floor malthouse in Benesov, Czech Republic, passes Kosher audit
Great news from Benesov, Czech Republic:
At the floor malthouse Ferdinand, where our Weyermann® floor malts are produced, the annual Kosher audit took place recently, which was passed without any deviations!
The plant was inspected by Rabbi Arie Folger. The audit was accompanied by Ferdinand malt master David Mares as well as our Weyermann® customer consultant for the Czech Republic, Dagmar Hrneckova.
Rabbi Arie Folger took his time for a thorough physical inspection of the malthouse and all its departments. His main focus was on the logistical processes from malt storage to shipping.
As part of the audit, Rabbi Arie Folger also thoroughly checked the documentation of orders, delivery notes and export notes.
Overall, Rabbi Arie Folger was extremely impressed with how beautiful and clean this original malthouse from 1872 is.
At the end and to celebrate the passed audit, all participants enjoyed an alcohol-free Kosher Ferdinand beer – brewed with Weyermann® malts!
We would like to thank everyone involved for the excellent audit preparation and execution and send best regards to Benesov!
