This week, Quito, the capital city of Ecuador, is going to be filled with craft beer fans and lovers as the craft beer week kicks off today!
As part of the Craft Beer Week with craft beer competition, lectures, seminars and networking opportunities, the entire week is dedicated to promoting and celebrating the Latin American craft beer culture.
Our Weyermann® International Malting & Brewing Expert Alirio Caldera is right in the middle of it all. He will represent our family malting company and give a presentation on traditional German dark lager beers.
„The Middle of the World Beer Cup“ for Brewers, by Brewers is the largest craft beer competition in Ecuador and Latin America and aims to promote beer quality in the Latin American region. An international jury of experts, with Alirio Caldera being one of the beer judges – evaluates the submitted beer specialties.
