Weyermann® supports charity beer project for the Ukraine

A beer that symbolizes solidarity and friendship and reminds us that we must not forget our fellow human beings in crisis areas. Our Weyermann® customer, ATELIER VRAI from Heidelbach in Hessen, has now brewed such a beer as part of a charity project in favor of those affected by the Ukraine crisis.

As a company that stands for an inclusive world in which love, peace and togetherness are lived, Weyermann® Malts has already demonstrated its solidarity through various campaigns in the past.

Together with our partner Fermentis®, we are happy to have taken over the supply of raw materials for this beautiful brewing project by providing malt, malt extracts and yeast!

ATELIER VRAI Managing Director Nico Döring invited three Ukrainian breweries to Bamberg to brew together. This resulted in three different beer creations, including an Imperial Celebration Stout that matured in whisky casks.

The idea is to bottle the beer only when peace has come to the Ukraine. However, since the people are already dependent on help, the following concept was created:

The limited edition of the Imperial Celebration Stout can be purchased in the online shop through a share certificate or in a package with two other charity beers. As soon as the beer is bottled, it will be shipped.

100% of the net proceeds from the sale will be donated to various Ukrainian charities such as VOSTOK SOS!
