Weyermann® customers win one third of all awards at this year’s European Beer Star
Congratulations to all of our Weyermann® customers who won an award at this year’s European Beer Star!
For the 20th anniversary of the renowned beer competition, a total of 2,356 beers competed against each other in 74 categories. These were submitted by over 550 breweries from 47 countries. The evaluation was carried out by a 140-member jury of experts, who assessed the beer samples submitted purely based on sensory criteria.
The winners of the “Anniversary EBS” were presented with their awards on November 29th, 2023 as part of the BrauBeviale trade fair. A total of 222 awards were presented this year of which over a third of all medals went to loyal Weyermann® customers from all over the world – what a fantastic result!
We are particularly pleased that the most successful brewery in this year‘s competition is also a loyal Weyermann® customer: the Schneider Weisse brewery from Kelheim secured this title with three gold and one bronze award. Well done!
