Visit of the city leaders at Weyermann® Malz
We were recently delighted to receive a visit from the Bamberg city council to our family business. First Mayor Andreas Starke, Second Mayor Jonas Glüsenkamp and Simone Ludwig-Konggann, Deputy Head of Economic Development, were warmly welcomed by Sabine Weyermann, Thomas Kraus-Weyermann and Franziska Weyermann and Press Officer Hannah Schmid.
Current topics were discussed and future prospects highlighted in a successful exchange. First Mayor Starke praised Weyermann® as an “ornament for Bamberg as a business location” and thanked the management for their many years of commitment.
As the world market leader in the specialty malt sector, Weyermann® Malz is known to industry experts around the globe – a name that stands for professional competence, product quality and service at the highest level.
With around 50,000 beers worldwide brewed with Weyermann® raw materials today, our company underlines its importance for the international brewing industry.
A special highlight was Thomas Kraus-Weyermann’s guided tour of the company premises. The visitors were impressed by the germination boxes, the modern caramel malt cathedral, the bagging process and our innovative brewery.
We would like to thank the city leaders for their visit and look forward to continuing to work together for the benefit of our city and region.
