We say goodbye to Herbert Aust
After nine loyal and faithful years at the world market leader for specialty malts, we say goodbye to Herbert Aust (far right) today, who will start his well-deserved retirement today.
Since 2011, Herbert had been a firm part of the red and yellow Weyermann® world. The trained painter was the head of our painter’s shop. Herbert was furthermore a member of our facility management team and thus also responsible for keeping the historical part of the company grounds in good shape. With great commitment, he loved to prepare and to do the follow-up work of all our events.
To his farewell, all colleagues from the field of facility management as well as his supervisors gathered in front of the painter’s shop to wish him all the best for his retirement.
Daniel Hau, Weyermann® Coordination Maintenance and Head of Facility Management, as well as Bernd Schmitt, Team Leader Maintenance Machines Bamberg, thanked Herbert for the long-term reliable cooperation and for his tireless commitment.
“Thank you so much for your commitment to Weyermann®. For your new chapter in life, we wish you a lot of health, wonderful moments and enough time to travel to South Tyrol and for a after-work beer!”, said Daniel Hau.
To commemorate his time at Weyermann® Malts, Herbert was given a photo album full of wonderful memories of the last years. Furthermore, he received a gift certificate for the Weyermann® Shop living & drinking.
Visibly moved, Herbert accepted the gifts with pleasure and thanked everyone for the wonderful cooperation in the past nine years in the red and yellow Weyermann® world – many colleagues became good friends to Herbert.
Dear Herbert, the whole Weyermann® team wishes you a peaceful retirement and all the best. We are looking forward to seeing you soon!
