Farewell to Andreas Richter

With a heavy heart, we say goodbye to our employee

Mr. Andreas Richter

who passed away on November 18th at the age of 52 after a long illness.

Andreas Richter was our reliable and competent head of quality management for more than two decades.

He was a competent advisor to us with his wealth of knowledge.

Brewers all over the world listened to his opinion and followed his advice. At the countless international beer tastings, he was the expert and valued “table captain”. Many brewers are brewing beers in his memory these days.

For many young employees, he was an inspiration and a role model, with his remarkable career from an 18-year-old trainee to one of the most responsible positions Weyermann® has to offer.

And for so many, he has become a close friend.

We will miss Andreas´ calm and competent presence. With his big heart, he was always a good companion and an extremely loyal employee.

He will always have a big place in our hearts.

Our thoughts are with his family.
