We say goodbye to Georg Hönig

After five wonderful years in the red and yellow world, we say goodbye to our employee Georg Hönig, who will start his well-deserved retirement today.

Georg Hönig was head of the bagging and loading at our Weyermann® production site in Hassfurt.

The experienced brewmaster and father of Stefan Hönig, Weyermann® team leader roasted malt beer brewery, looks back on his time in our family business with the following words:

“Dear Weyermann team,

After more than 45 years in professional life, the last 5 of them at Weyermann® in Hassfurt, it’s my last working day today.
I would like to say goodbye to all of you this way, as it was not possible for me to say goodbye to everyone in person.
I would like to thank the Weyermann family and Mr. Buhrmann for making it possible for me to work in this unique company.
I had a wonderful time. I was able to gain a lot of new experiences at the end of my professional life.
Thank you for the good and harmonious cooperation.
There were many beautiful moments that I will keep in mind for a very long time to come.
With the certainty of seeing each other again at one point, I wish you all the best. Stay healthy and safe.

Yovcho Byalkov, Weyermann® team leader production malts Hassfurt, said goodbye to Georg Hönig on behalf of the team and presented him with a gift certificate for our Weyermann® living & drinking shop.

In addition, the employees in Hassfurt hat gotten together to surprise Georg Hönig with a private gift. Thus he was thrilled to receive a gift basket with lots of goodies and specialties, such as the Weyermann® Single Barrel Rye Whiskey.

We would like to thank Georg Hönig for all the good that he has brought into our Weyermann® world.
