8 bags full of crown corks: A success for a good cause

The 2024 crown cork collection campaign at Weyermann® was a complete success! This year, Böhm’s Autoshop in Stegaurach diligently collected crown corks to make a valuable contribution to PalliVIVO GmbH and its SAPV team in Bamberg.

The collected beer caps were sold at the scrap dealer in Bamberg harbor. The proceeds from the sale will go directly to the outpatient palliative care team, which is lovingly dedicated to supporting seriously ill and dying people and their relatives.

1 kilogram of crown corks equals around 480 pieces. Thanks to the generous support of Weyermann® Malt and our neighborhood, we were able to donate 8 full bags, each with a capacity of 25 kilograms.

Next round: We will continue to collect and are happy about every donation. Crown caps can be handed in during the opening hours of the Weyermann® Living & Drinking Shop in the vestibule of the store.
