Brazilian Beer Contest & Festival + Collaboration Brew Days, Brazil

And just like that Alirio Caldera’s business trip to Brazil has come to an end.

The last two weeks our Weyermann® Malting & Brewing Expert spent two weeks spreading the red and yellow spirit in Brazil.

Firstly, Alirio Caldera demonstrated his expertise as a beer judge at the “Concurso Brasileiro de Cervejas” contest in Blumenau. Together with his jury colleagues – a total of 145 experts from 24 countries – he evaluated 4000 brew specialties submitted to the competition!

Afterwards he attended the largest Brazilian beer festival including trade fair, “Feira Brasileira da Cerveja”, where he enjoyed the exchange with craft beer brewers and of course many several beer specialties brewed with Weyermann® malts!

Collaboration brews with and at loyal Weyermann® customers in Florianopolis and Sao Paulo rounded off Alirio’s trip.

Thank you very much, dear Alirio, for strengthening our red and yellow bond to Brazil so beautifully and have a safe flight home!
