Craft Beer Competition „Kraft Roku“ 2024, Krakau, Polen
Another successful edition of the prestigious Polish Craft Beer Competition “Kraft Roku” has come to an end, and we are pleased to report on the highlights of this event.
Weyermann® presence at Kraft Roku 2024
This year our esteemed Weyermann® International Malting & Brewing Expert Fedor Nikolashkin represented the red and yellow flag in Krakow. As an experienced Beer Judge, he contributed his expertise to the evaluation of the submitted beers and thus contributed to the quality of the competition.
Talk on non-alcoholic beers
A special highlight was Fedor’s presentation on Weyermann® Low & Non Alcohol Beers. In times of growing demand for non-alcoholic alternatives, he shared valuable insights into the production of these specialty beers.
Growing success of the competition
With 819 beers submitted by 113 Polish craft breweries in 65 categories, the diversity and innovative strength of the Polish craft beer scene was impressively demonstrated.
International recognition
The importance of Kraft Roku for the European beer landscape was underlined by the official support of the European Beer Consumers Union (EBCU). This recognition confirms the high standards of the competition and Poland’s important role in European brewing culture.
Outlook
Since its foundation in 2007, Kraft Roku has developed into one of the most important beer competitions in Europe. The event not only promotes the Polish craft beer scene, but also provides a platform for international exchange and innovation.
We congratulate all the winners and thank our Weyermann® ambassador Fedor Nikolashkin for his commitment.
