Double Gold for the Weyermann® Distillery in Frankfurt
Fantastic news from Frankfurt: the Weyermann® Rum and Weyermann® Double Juniper have been awarded Gold at this year’s Frankfurt International Spirits Trophy!
In the competition category “Rum”, our Weyermann® barrel-aged rum prevailed against its competitors. This wonderful creation captivates with its balanced aroma profile. While fruity notes of pineapple and banana dominate the nose, on the palate, these tropical influences blend with subtle caramel and a hint of chocolate. Until its completion, the Weyermann® Rum matured in selected red wine barrels in the Weyermann® Barrelroom for two years.
The second gold-winning premium spirit from our house is the Weyermann® Double Juniper. Distilled on our copper still from handpicked, highly aromatic juniper berries, the result is a fruity, distinctive juniper spirit with a mild finish.

The Frankfurt International Spirits Trophy is a major and significant international competition in Germany. With more than 720 spirits tasted in 2024, the Spirits Trophy is one of the most important tastings in the industry and, with 154 categories, offers a broad selection that takes into account the diversity of spirits around the world. The spirits were evaluated by an internationally composed jury of experts and industry connoisseurs, as well as experienced amateurs representing consumers.
