Gold, silver and bronze for Weyermann® customers at the Barcelona Beer Challenge

We’ve received some wonderful news from Bella Italia: our Italian Weyermann® customers Birrificio Serra Storta, Birrificio del Forte, Chianti Brew Fighters und die Toccalmatto y Brasserie 28 have been awarded gold, silver and bronze medals at the Barcelona Beer Challenge 2021!

Congratulations from Bamberg to all award winners in Italy!

The Barcelona Beer Challenge is an internationally recognised competition that along with other initiatives contributes to providing a new platform of visibility and recognition to the best quality beers.

Over 1100 beers have been submitted to this year’s edition from 232 breweries worldwide, which
40 specialized judges assessed.

In a total of 60 categories gold, silver and bronze medals were awarded. Furthermore there were three special prizes: „Best Brewery of the year“, „Best Rookie Brewery“ and the „Molina for Brewing Innovation Award“

We are delighted that our lovely malts were once more able to contribute to the success of our customers – award-winning beers are brewed with Weyermann® malts!
