New Year’s Reception 2025 – A celebration of community and tradition

Yesterday afternoon, we gathered in bright sunshine at the Loading & Shipping Hub on Böttgerstraße in Bamberg to celebrate the traditional New Year’s Reception.

The event, organized by the Weyermann® logistics team, provided a wonderful opportunity to welcome the New Year together.

Christoph Werner, team lead of the Loading & Shipping Hub, welcomed everyone and opened the festivities. In his speech, he thanked all departments for their contribution and wished everyone a happy and healthy new year.

Franziska Weyermann then took the floor and thanked everyone who had contributed to the organization of the event. She emphasized how important such traditions are for the working atmosphere and how much they contribute to strengthening the sense of community. With enthusiasm and conviction, all employees reaffirmed their common goal: to continue to set standards in malt production in 2025 and to meet the highest quality standards worldwide.

After the official part of the event, those present engaged in lively discussions over tasty snacks and refreshing drinks. As is the tradition for this event in our red and yellow world, the employees themselves contributed to the buffet, with volunteers bringing along a variety of homemade specialties.

The result was a colorful and international buffet that wonderfully reflected the global diversity of the Weyermann® team.
