Re-certification audit according to FSSC 5.0 successfully passed
This week Christiane Müller (SGS-ICS) carried out the second re-certification audit at the Heinz Weyermann® Roasted Malt Beer Brewery since the initial certification in July 2014.
Re-certification means that the audited area is examined in accordance with the FSSC to ensure that the certificate is reissued for another three years. In addition, the standard was updated from version 4.1 to 5.0, so that the associated new requirements are also audited.
The FSSC, the so-called Food Safety System Certification, is one of the strictest Food Safety certifications alongside IFS and BRC and is accepted worldwide by the GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative).
After two intensive audit days, we successfully passed the re-certification.
Christiane Müller praised the constructive and open audit atmosphere and the very good implementation of the FSSC requirements.
Our sincere thanks go to all Weyermann® employees involved for the excellent audit preparation and support!
