Third DLG gold award for the Weyermann® Schlotfegerla®

Fantastic news from the DLG (Deutsche Landwirtschafts-Gesellschaft – German Agricultural Society): our Weyermann® Schlotfegerla® has once again been awarded the „Goldener Preis“ („Golden Prize“).
This is the third DLG gold award in a row for our Weyermann® No.1!
The DLG test is one of the most demanding beer tests in the world.
The beers are subjected to extensive quality controls over a period of three months. All awarded products must pass a sensory analysis, laboratory tests, preparation-, packing- and labelling tests as far as included in the test frame. The focus of the DLG quality test lies on criteria such as foam stability, taste and the purity of the beers.
The quality test is carried out in cooperation with the two leading brewery institutes, the VLB Berlin and the Weihenstephan Research Center for Brewing and Food Quality.
We are over the moon, that our smoked beer classic was once again able to convince the DLG experts and congratulate our brewery team around Weyermann® brewmaster Constantin Förtner on the well-deserved award – well done!
