We say goodbye to Markus Scheel

After seven and a half years in the red and yellow world, we said goodbye to our employee Markus Scheel.

Markus Scheel had been a part of our family-owned traditional company since 2016.

As a trained electronics technician for energy and building technology, he strengthened our electrical maintenance department in Bamberg. Together with his colleagues he was responsible for all matters related to electricity at Weyermann® Malts.

Markus Scheel was a wonderful asset to our team. He was known as a “doer without discussing” and was distinguished by his excellent expertise, work ethic, and helpfulness.

He thoroughly enjoyed his diverse activities, which allowed him to continually acquire new skills and knowledge. He also appreciated the many attentions from the Weyermann® management and praised the training and further education offerings of our specialty malt factory.

We thank Markus Scheel for all the good things he has brought into our red and yellow world and wish him all the best for his future journey!
