We welcome Markus Storch to the team

With Markus Storch we have found the perfect person to fill the production manager position at our Weyermann® location in Hassfurt in Lower Franconia!

Mr. Storch will work closely with our management and general management in order to continue to lead our Hassfurt location into a successful future.

Born in Hassfurt, he started his career in 1999 with an apprenticeship as a specialist in food technology – at that time at Main-Malz Meißner KG.

He then worked there in production and quality assurance and also accompanied the transition of the company to Weyermann® Malts in 2001.

In 2005, Markus Storch decided to train as a brewer and maltster at the renowned Doemens Academy in Gräfelfing.

He eventually expanded his professional know-how through his further training as a technical specialist as well as a master brewer and maltster. In addition, he successfully passed the trainer aptitude test, allowing him to serve as an instructor.

In 2006, Mr. Storch took over the team leader position in the newly opened Weyermann® Logistics Center before moving to CCEP in Knetzgau in 2011. There he was able to further develop his leadership skills.

With the return to Weyermann®, especially the Hassfurt site, a long-held dream has come true for him.

Markus Storch is married and lives in Hainert, a district of the municipality of Knetzgau, with his wife and two children. In his free time, he shows his sporty side as a soccer coach at the club Sportfreunde 1948 Unterhohenried.

We are very happy about his return to his professional roots and wish him a successful (re)start as well as a lot of joy and success at his work in the red and yellow Weyermann® world!
