We welcome Simon Giebfried

On September 1st, 2024, we welcomed Simon Giebfried as a trainee to Weyermann® Malt.

He has already completed a two-month internship in our red and yellow world as part of his brewing studies, which convinced him to pursue an apprenticeship as a brewer and maltster.

The 23-year-old has previously completed training as a mechatronics technician but now wants to turn his hobby, brewing, into a profession.

Simon Giebfried will be trained by our brewmaster Constantin Förtner, who already supervised him during his internship.

We warmly welcome Simon Giebfried to the team and wish him a lot of fun and joy in his apprenticeship!
