Weyermann® Distillery awarded best whisky distiller!

Fantastic news from the Association of Small Distillers and Fruit Distillers: Weyermann® Distillery receives the award “Best Whisky Distiller”!

Also, seven spirits from our distillery win at the competition.

Three whiskeys and four other spirits win gold at the association´s awards. The Weyermann® No. 4 Single Malt Whisky, the Single Barrel Rye Whisky, and the One Forty Single Malt Whisky win gold. In the category of fine spirits and liqueurs, the Weyermann® Rauchbock Beer Spirit, Rye Bock Beer Spirit, Apple Brandy aged in acacia barrels, and the Nougat Cream Liqueur also are awarded gold.

Master distiller Philipp Schwarz uses our large portfolio of malt and also the finest fruits and special herbs in his products. The whiskeys and selected spirits also mature for several years in our own barrel room until perfection.

The North Württemberg Award is organized annually by the Association of Small Distillers and Fruit Distillers. At the 24th edition, more than 1,700 entries were judged. In various categories, the products had the chance to win an award in gold, silver, or bronze.
