Weyermann® supports projects of the Bayerische Rote Kreuz

Many reasons to do good were offered to our boss Sabine Weyermann and her daughter Franziska Weyermann – due to their just celebrated company anniversaries. On October 1st, Sabine Weyermann celebrated her 35th anniversary and Franziska Weyermann her 10th anniversary.

Following a tradition, they happily made a generous donation to the Bayerische Rote Kreuz (Bavarian Red Cross Organisation)

By doing so, they are supporting two important projects.

One is the purchase of a new coffee machine, which improves the efficiency when in board operations. In operations with over 100 emergency personnel of the red cross, fire fighters, THW technical assistance and more, the supply of hot beverages is ensured.

The other project is the purchase of a mobile hygienic station. It improves the hygienic possibilities of the voluntary civil protection force. The mobile hygienic station can be applied locally and can also be used as a mobile washbasin in the field of medical and board care.

It is wonderful to see that through this generous donation so much good and important can be done. For us here at Weyermann® it is a well-deserved mark of recognition for the tireless commitment of the volunteer emergency personnel.

Social and volunteer engagement is deeply rooted in our family company. Until today, volunteer work has a high significance at Weyermann® Malts. One third of all employees are volunteering in many fields, for example for the fire fighters, at the technical assistance or in youth work.
