We bid farewell to Christian Gröger

30 years in and for the red and yellow Weyermann® world! For so many years, Christian Gröger has been a wonderful companion to our company. Now, at the end of the month, we have bid him farewell into his well-deserved retirement.

Christian Gröger was one of our longest-serving employees here at Weyermann® Malt. His first contact with our family malt house was in 1994. At that time, he initially strengthened our team of locksmiths as a temporary worker. He immediately liked the working environment in the red and yellow world so much that he wished to become a permanent member of the team. In 1995, his wish came true – since then, he has enriched our production team in Bamberg, most recently as a dedicated employee in the roasting plant.

For Christian Gröger, the feeling of being directly involved in what makes our customers happy was priceless. This and many other reasons, such as job security, were decisive for the Thuringia-born employee’s long-standing loyalty to our Bamberg family malthouse. He was always a helpful, dedicated, and above all friendly colleague to his coworkers, who could always draw on a wealth of experience and knowledge. This made him an extremely valuable member of the team! Our marketing department also enjoyed many years of active support from Christian Gröger and his wife Monika Gröger when it came to packing the annual Christmas packages for our loyal Weyermann® customers worldwide.

We thank Christian Gröger for all the good he has brought to our red-yellow Weyermann® world and wish him a pleasant and restful retirement.
