Weyermann® Destillerie Whisky Release 2024 – Special Eight Whisky

On 11.11.2024 it was time again, the Weyermann® distillery celebrated the release of its eighth whisky. The Weyermann® Special Eight Whisky is characterized by its unique composition of eight carefully selected malts:

  1. Weyermann® Distillery Barley Malt
  2. Weyermann® CARAAROMA®
  3. Weyermann® SPECIAL W®
  4. Weyermann® Munich Malt Type 2
  5. Weyermann® CARAMUNICH® Type 1
  6. Weyermann® Pilsner Malt
  7. Weyermann® Beech Smoke Barley Malt
  8. Weyermann® CARAFA® SPEZIAL Type 1

This complex blend gives the whisky a fascinating bouquet. Our latest specialty from the Weyermann® distillery convinces on the nose with white grapes, ripe stone fruit and exotic fruits. On the palate, the full bouquet of nut confectionery, vanilla and brittle unfolds. The finish is balanced with a long finish.

The Special Eight whisky was developed under the direction of Master Distiller Philipp Schwarz and Distiller Laurenz Schorner.

Whisky enthusiasts can now purchase the Weyermann® Special Eight Whisky in the Weyermann® Living and Drinking Shop at Brennerstraße 15. It is available in a 0.5 liter bottle and in a smaller 0.1 liter bottle.

Last year, the Triple Cask Edition single malt whisky wowed connoisseurs with its complexity resulting from maturation in three different types of cask. The gourmet magazine Falstaff awarded this whisky pleasure 93 points last month.
