Weyermann® distribution partner seminar and evening 2024

After three successful days at the Brau Beviale trade fair in Nuremberg, Weyermann® welcomed its distribution partners to the annual distribution partner seminar and evening 2024. This year, the event was held under a special star, as Weyermann® Malz was celebrating its 145th anniversary.

On the morning of November 29, 2024, 76 distribution partners from 28 nations gathered at the Weyermann® Logistics Center for the distribution partner seminar. It is the ideal platform to stay informed about the latest developments in the red and yellow world of Weyermann® through a series of specialist presentations. Experts from various areas of the company presented current topics and innovations to bring the sales partners up to date. After a warm welcome by Franziska Weyermann, the seminar began.

Thomas Kraus-Weyermann opened the series of talks with a presentation on news, investments and upgrades at Weyermann®. He then handed over to Aishagul Schleicher, Weyermann® Head of Raw Material Purchasing, who presented the Weyermann® Harvest Report.

After a coffee break, the second block of the seminar began with a presentation on malt and beer quality with high brewhouse yields by Weyermann® International Malting & Brewing Expert Axel Jany. Next, Alirio Caldera, International Malting & Brewing Expert at Weyermann®, spoke about the importance of pH measurement and acidity determination. Fedor Nikolashkin, International Malting & Brewing Expert at Weyermann®, concluded the morning of the seminar with a presentation on sustainability at Weyermann®.

Well nourished by a delicious lunch, the last block began.

This was introduced by Dr. Susanne J. Scheitza, European Patent Attorney. In her presentation, she reported on the Weyermann® Trademarks. After an open round of questions and discussion, a tour of the new Weyermann® Caramel Malt Cathedral concluded this exciting and informative seminar!

In the evening, the partners gathered for the Weyermann® distribution partner evening in the festively decorated guest center. After words of welcome from Sabine Weyermann, the guests enjoyed chestnut soup, tapas finger food and desserts.  Beer and spirits specialties from our house and Prosecco rounded off the offer. The guests laughed, danced and strengthened the red and yellow bond of friendship until late into the evening.

We would like to thank our organization team for the excellent preparation and everyone else who took part for contributing to the success of the seminar and the evening.

Many thanks to Burgebracher Partyservice Ludwig for the delicious catering! We would also like to thank the RedPack trio for accompanying the evening with music!
