Weyermann® donates parcels for the Johanniter Christmas Trucker campaign
The pre-Christmas period has taken on a very special meaning at Weyermann®. This year we are pleased to participate in the “Johanniter Christmas Trucker” campaign.
A tradition of charity
Since 1993, the Johanniter Christmas Truckers have been bringing hope and joy to people in difficult situations. Thousands of people take part in the campaign every year. Each parcel is filled with essential goods according to a predetermined packing list:
– Basic foodstuffs such as flour, rice, pasta and cooking oil
– Hygiene items, including toothbrushes, toothpaste and soap
– Sweets for a touch of festive cheer
– A small gift that will make children’s eyes light up in particular
This compilation ensures that the recipients not only receive food, but also a piece of appreciation.
We are particularly proud of the aspiring office management trainees in class WKB12b at Bamberg Vocational College. As part of their lessons, the young people promote this heart-warming project as a collection point for self-packers.
Until December 13, people could pack parcels and hand them in at collection points, or alternatively, and this is still possible now, donate parcels virtually.
A parcel can be put together and donated with just a few clicks via the Johanniter website. Weyermann® is participating in this initiative with 10 parcels.
Where do the parcels go?
The Johanniter Christmas Truckers make their way to various regions where the need is particularly great:
- Albania
- Bosnia
- Bulgaria
- Romania
- Ukraine
- Republic of Moldova
But there are also people in Germany who need help. That’s why parcels also stay in the country to do good here.
It is touching to see how young people enthusiastically help others and internalize important values such as compassion and social responsibility.
We invite everyone to join this wonderful initiative.

Together we can make the world a little brighter, in the spirit of Christmas, because joy shared is joy doubled!
